Well, let's put the Windows Vista or Windows 7 Search Bar to work ,If you're switching back and forth between showing hidden files and re-hiding them, then taking a step out of the process should be welcome. So, instead of slogging through menus to get to the Folder Options, why not just type in “folder” in the Search Bar?

The very top selection that pops up will be “Folder Options”.
