LooGix lets you make GIFs from a minimum of two frames to a maximum of 10. You can adjust the size and speed to preset levels.

In addition to GIF-making, this service offers "special effects," such as blurring, rotation, fading, etc.

Once you're done, upload your GIF to social services, get the HTML code to embed or send it via email.

2. Picasion

Picasion works the same way, but offers some useful "advanced" features.

For instance, enter a specific size (rather than select from presets) and tailor the speed of the animation to suit.

You can save your GIF to your computer, mail it, upload it, or get the code for it.

Gickr allows you to get photos from Flickr or use a YouTube video. Or choose to upload your own images.

This service also gives you the choice of setting the size and speed to custom options.

When you've finished making, there's a ton of built-in share functionality, as well as the option to download your animation.

Once you've set the speed and size, share the finished product to Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr.

Gifninja lets you select multiple files for faster upload. You can also upload a movie file, as long as it doesn't exceed 20MB.
